TAJIKISTANNSOI initially engaged the Government of Tajikistan in January 2007. On November 18, 2011, the Tajikistan Foreign Minister Khamrokhon Zarifi and U.S. Ambassador Ken Gross signed the NSOI-developed Joint Action Plan.
The joint action plan includes 31 priority steps to improve Tajikistani capabilities; 18 of these steps involve ongoing efforts that need to be completed, and the remaining 13 involve new efforts that should be undertaken.
