DETAILS OF ASSISTANCE BEING PROVIDED TO NSOI-DEVELOPED PROJECTS

EUROPEAN UNION / EUROPEAN COMMISSION

The European Union (EU) is providing assistance to the Government of Ukraine to fight corruption by computerizing customs processing, improving transparency of border procedures, adopting EU standards into customs and border operations, and implementing ethics training.

The EU is also fostering improvements in the Government of Ukraine's and Government of Georgia’s forensics capabilities by sponsoring participation by Ukrainian and Georgian representatives in the Nuclear Smuggling International Technical Working Group.
