Finland has provided two donations to support efforts by the U.S. Department of Energy's Second Line of Defense program to improve the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic's detection capability at key crossing points on its land borders and one donation to support similar work in Ukraine. The Finnish contributions fund provision of radiation detection and other equipment needed to outfit a border crossing, as well as equipment installation and related training.
