GERMANY

Germany is supporting two projects in Ukraine.  The first project will remove vulnerable radioactive sources from circulation and ship them to secure storage so that they cannot be trafficked.  The second project aims to improve security of radioactive sources at the Ukrainian State Industrial Enterprise “Izotop” and install a hot cell to prevent the unnecessary transportation of highly radioactive materials.
