DETAILS OF ASSISTANCE BEING PROVIDED TO NSOI-DEVELOPED PROJECTS

NORWAY

Norway has committed to provide funding through the U.S. Department of Energy's Second Line of Defense program to improve the Government of Kazakhstan's detection capability at key crossing points on its land borders. The Norwegian contribution will fund provision of radiation detection and other equipment needed to outfit several border crossings, as well as equipment installation and related training.
